To create brickfilms I use a number of programs and pieces of equipment, these include:
Pre-production
I write my scripts using a free program called Trelby and for general brain storming I draw or write things down on paper or the notes app on my phone.
Production
I capture frames using a free frame capturing program called Helium Frog with a Logitech c920 Webcam. I record sound effects and voices using a free program called Audacity and a Blue Yeti Microphone. In addition I also use a couple of IKEA desk lights, some Blu Tack and of course LEGO bricks.
Post-production
I edit my films using Cyberlink PowerDirector 13 and I edit individual frames using GIMP. Additional sound effects and music (in addition to my own) are usually obtained from Incompetech.com and FreeSound.org.
